Duterte vowed to eradicate crimes within 3-6 months, especially drug-related crimes. Incoming PNP Chief Dela Rosa even formed a team to specifically focus on solving and exposing the biggest druglords in the country.

This might just be the reason why 95 drug suspects, including 5 minors, surrendered to authorities yesterday, June 25, 2016 at a gym of Brgy. Fatima General Santos City. It was under the project DUTERTE of Police Station 7 spearheaded of Police Senior Inspector Ryan Jay Capurcos.

They vowed and signed a statement stating and strongly confirming that they are to turn over a new leaf. However, this doesn't mean that they are completely off the hook as they will still be in the watchlist. They will be monitored by Police Authorities.

Currently, the authorities conduct symposium about the contents eof Republic Act 9165 to educate the drug suspects. This aims to make them understand the law against illegal drugs.

Meanwhile, Filipinos expect to hear more of this as Duterte assumes office on June 30, 2016.
