As the fight against illegal drugs intensified, vigilante killings have seemingly increased as well. Last Monday, July 10, a dead body of an alleged snatcher has been found in EDSA Grand Central Terminal around 1:00 am. What made it viral was that it was wrapped in packaging tape with the label "Huwag ako tularan. Snatcher ako sa EDSA"
A certain Christine Jimenez Beteno took it to Facebook and shared that they mistakenly thought it was garbage at first. But when they saw the hair on a closer look, they realized it was a dead body. They have reported it to the police immediately.
The autorities responded right away and went to the scene. They are yet to release the identity of the said body.
Many netizens have connected this to the group of vigilante who appeared on television wearing mask who threatened to kill drug pushers in accordance to their support to President Duterte. This is beacause of the same pattern with a policeman who was found dead in Meycauayan City Bulacan last Thursday. The said police have been killed with multiple shots with a placard attached to his dead body saying "Pulis na pusher. Wag tularan.”
